Perks of staying in Korea: Filming Locations | IRIS | 2015 Wow Korea Supporters

One of the perks of living in S.Korea is that I can go to those places where they film dramas. Before I came to Korea, I loved watching those dramas and somehow my parents got sucked into the world of K-Drama too. And I found it so amusing when I see my parents talk about Korean Dramas.

So, one of the dramas that my parents loved was Iris. It is basically an action and suspends-filled drama. And you know who else is in it? TOP from Big Bang is in it!!!!!!!!

So one of the scenes in IRIS was there was a huge explosion was film in Gwanghwamun Square which is located in Seoul City

 And that scene was pretty intense, even my parents was excited to go there when they came to visit me in S.Korea.

 So Gwanghwamun Square looks like this normally. And if you happened to stop by Gwanghwamun Square, you can even go to Gyeongbokgong - the palace :)

Here are some directions that will be helpful if you ever plan to go to Gwanghwamun Square!

3) Gwanghwamun Station (Seoul Subway Line 5), Exit 1, 2 & 8.

And a friendly reminder, bring sunglasses if you ever tour around Seoul during the summer, it could get pretty bright and you'd end up squinting your eyes like us :P
