Things to do in Gyeongsangbukdo - Daegu | 2015 Wow Korea Supporters (Day 3)

Day 3 in Daegu!

So we started the day with a tour around Junggu Modern Cultural Street.

We learn so much about the local history especially about the Oriental Medicine Street in Daegu. They even made a museum for visitors to have a better understanding of oriental medicine.

I did a little cosplay too!
After that, we learned a little more about a famous poet in Daegu, the Christian movement as well as the independence movement in Daegu.

After the tour, we were all hungry and went to Seomun Market to eat street food!
There were so many kinds of food there and we get to eat as much as we want because everything there was really cheap compared to Seoul!!

And we had sooooo much food!!
There are even seats for people to enjoy their food in the market!

After lunch, we went to E-world where we experienced the Light and Sand Art Exhibitions.

 We played with lights.
 We played with sand.

Daegu Arboretum, the eco-park in the heart of Daegu | 2015 Wow Korea Supporters

Daegu Arboretum (대구수목원) is also known as an eco-park in the heart of downtown Daegu. It is home to more than 1000 species of plants including giant cacti, flowers, medicinal herbs and trees. It would definitely be a great place to visit because it regularly holds ecology experience programs for students.
On top of that, it provides a healing experience for people who make the trip there to walk around, look at the flowers and breathe in the fresh air.

The huge and beautiful botanical garden is one of the things to visit when going to Daegu. The entire place has a park for picnics, green houses featuring many different plants and ponds with water lilies and even bonsai gardens. The place is pretty huge so it takes roughly an hour or two to totally cover it.
It would be an amazing place to walk around during spring to see cherry blossoms, as well as during the cool summer of September.
